Our Services

Five Rivers Dental Center offers the Dayton area a complete dental service, with procedures ranging from teeth cleaning to minor trauma surgery. The center is capable of caring for the region’s most serious dental problems. Services include preventative dentistry, dentures, partials, root canals, restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, periodontal treatment. Comprehensive orthodontic care is not provided at the Five Rivers Dental Center, but is referred to community orthodontists.

Great Depth of Staff

In addition to eight dental residents who bring with them the latest understanding and knowledge of evidence-based dentistry, Five Rivers Dental Center has general dentist-preceptors with years of private practice experience. This gives FRHC a large, available staff that offers a balance of innovation and experience. The attending dental staff at Five Rivers Dental Center has an average of over 10 years of experience. This ensures patients can be confident that their dental care is being done or overseen by dentists experienced with whatever their condition may be.
Five Rivers Dental Center staff comprises specialists including one Periodontists, an Endodontist, one Pedodontists, and two Oral Surgeons. As a team, these dental surgeons are experienced in performing all types of dental care. Five Rivers Dental Center staff can identify and co-manage (with the patient’s physician) medical conditions that may require treatment while meeting the dental needs of the patient.
Five Rivers Dental Center staff are comfortable working with vastly different groups of patients of all ages. The staff is compassionate and empathetic and treats all patients with respect.

IV Sedation for Pain

Pain is a strong concern for most dental patients and often a reason why they avoid dental care. Five Rivers Dental Center has a better ability to treat pain with more options than most dental practices. Intravenous sedation can be done at the Center. This is not a common offering at private dentist offices. IV sedation allows the patient another option should he or she desire more than the traditional dental pain management.

Treatment for Young Children

Cavities are unfortunately common in young children. Five Rivers Dental Center staff recognize the importance of beginning dental care at a young age. Many dentists will not handle children under age 5. When starting dental care early at FRHC, a child gets to know the facility and dentists and has less of a stigma about seeing a dentist, since it has been a normal part of their life from an early age.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance in order to open up that time for other patients.
