Glass. "I live in Cedarville Ohio and work out of glass studios in Dayton and Columbus. All of my pieces are hand blown from liquid glass taken from a 2100-degree furnace. Each piece is created by adding color and shaped by blowing through the steel pipe to gently move the piece toward the desired shape. For me the process is the most intriguing part of working with hot glass. The challenge is to combine brilliant colors and shapes to draw the viewer’s attention to the finished piece that will add a splash of excitement to the space it occupies."
